In this article, you will learn
- how to change the CMYK color values of objects and
- how to convert vectors with CMYK color values into Spot Colors.
1. Introduction
Process Colors are an important component of every print process. Therefore, the color values must be checked before the print files are sent to the printer. In some cases, changing color values or converting CMYK values from text or vectors is necessary - e.g. for barcodes, QR codes, brands, etc. - to a Spot Color or Technical Color - Dielines of any kind, lines for creasing or embossing, white or varnish separation, etc.
2. General
The Fixups listed below are located in the Color Values [2] selection menu, which you will find in the footer of the Process Colors [2] area in the Print Data tab.
The Fixups in this group can be used to correct or change the CMYK color values of objects. The user also has the option of converting vector objects with a defined CMYK value to a Spot Color or Technical Color.
