1. Introduction
The Fixup Remove Scale Factor is available in the Workflow. The purpose of this Fixup is to remove an existing scale factor from a file.
2. General
The Fixup Remove Scale Factor can be used to remove an existing scale factor.
You can find this Fixup on the tab Data Preparation of an Article, Order or Production Job by:
- entering the name of the Fixup in the area Filter,
- activating the option Page in the area Category,
- activating the option Delete or Scale in the area Action,
- activating the option Scale Factor in the area Property.
3. Description
An existing scale factor can be removed with this Fixup. This restores the file to its original size.
3.1. Prerequisites and Functionality
For the Fixup to perform as intended, the following requirementsmust be met:
- The file already has a scale factor.

No further options are available.
3.2. Before/After
To experiment with this function, refer to the sample file "Sample_Remove Scale Factor.pdf". The file has a scale factor of 1:10. This factor should be removed.
After applying the Fixup, the file "Sample_Remove Scale Factor_End.pdf" is created. The scale factor has been removed and the file has been restored to its original size.
