  • which prerequisites are required for this Fixup, and

1. Introduction

The Fixup Set MediaBox to Origin is available in the Workflow. The purpose of this Fixup is to set the MediaBox to its origin, i.e. to the coordinates 0/0.

2. General

The Fixup Set MediaBox to Origin can be used to bring the MediaBox back to its original position. In some cases, the MediaBox may be shifted, especially if the PageBox has been moved. If the MediaBox is not in its original position, this can lead to errors in the further processing and calculation of the document in the Workflow.

Apply this Fixup by default to all print data or technical drawings created in programs such as PackZ, ArtPro and the CAD programs ArtiosCAD. In these programs, the MediaBox is often not positioned at the origin by default.
