The Fixup Remove Empty Pages is available in the Workflow. The purpose of this Fixup is to remove all blank pages from a multipage file.

2. General

The Fixup Remove Empty Pages can be used to remove empty pages from a file, thereby eliminating unnecessary pages within the document.

You can find this Fixup on the tab Data Preparation of an Article, Order or Production Job by:

  • entering the name of the Fixup in the area Filter,
  • activating the option Page in the area Category,
  • activating the option Delete in the area Action,

3. Description

This Fixup can be used to delete empty pages located anywhere within the file. This minimizes the number of pages in the document, reducing it to the essentials.

Pages that contain no printable objects within the TrimBox are recognized as blank pages. Registration Marks located on a blank page to identify the TrimBox are ignored, and the page is still recognized as blanc.

3.1. Prerequisites and Functionality

For the Fixup to perform as intended, the following requirements must be met:

  • There is at least one blank page within the multipage print file.
