1. Introduction
When print files are uploaded into the Workflow, the documents are checked and partially corrected using Check-in Preflight and Fixup Templates, and thereby brought into a normalized state. Normalizing print data is therefore a key step in prepress, as it saves time, minimizes errors, and automates part of the process.
Not all Fixups are available in a «Check-in Preflight and Fixup Template»
The Workflow clearly distinguishes between normalizing print data and preparing print data for printing. The normalization step brings print data to a consistent standard for data preparation. The corresponding data preparation for production is initiated at a later stage by applying individual Fixups or Fixup Chains.
2. Available Fixups for ERP Systems
To take full advantage of Check-in Preflight and Fixup Templates, these templates must first be created. A Template essentially consists of Checks and Fixups. Currently, more than 44 Fixups are available in the Workflow. To maintain clarity, the individual Fixups have been divided into categories.
This article provides a detailed description of all Fixups specially provided for leading ERP Systems.
2.1. Advanter ERP – Checks and Fixups
Description: This Fixup enables access to specific Checks and Fixups – such as automatic scaling of the Print Item to the expected size within a defined tolerance – from Advanter ERP.
Use Case: Add this Fixup to every Check-in Preflight and Fixup Template if you are using Advanter ERP as the leading solution in your company.

2.2. Lift ERP – Checks and Fixups
Description: This Fixup enables access to specific Checks and Fixups – such as automatic scaling of the Print Item to the expected size within a defined tolerance – from Lift ERP.
Use Case: Add this Fixup to every Check-in Preflight and Fixup Template if you are using Lift ERP as the leading solution in your company.

2.3. ProboView ERP – Checks and Fixups
Description: This Fixup enables access to specific Checks and Fixups – such as automatic scaling and rotating of the Print Item to the expected size within a defined tolerance, as well as setting a Dieline for each print file – from ProboView ERP.
Use Case: Add this Fixup to every Check-in Preflight and Fixup Template if you are using ProboView ERP as the leading solution in your company.
