The check Check Pages have the same size allows you to verify whether all pages of a Print Item have the same size. The orientation of the pages must also be the same in order for the page sizes to match.

The Check is available within Automation when creating a Production Configuration. It can be used in the following Operations:

• Check Print Item and Apply Fixups – this Operation checks the Print Item and determines which Fixup or Action is applied when the specified value is present or not present.
• Check Print Item and Apply Fixup Chains – this Operation checks the Print Item and determines which Fixup Chain or Action is applied when the specified value is present or not present.
• Check Print Item and forward to – this Operation checks the Print Item and determines to which Production Configuration or Action the Print Item is forwarded when the specified value is present or not present.

Production Jobs are used in the Workflow in the following situations:

• Create Automation Jobs – Apply Production Configurations to selected Articles or Print Items.
• Batch Processing – Apply the selection Production Configuration to the print data to be processed.
• Hotfolder – Apply the selected Production Configuration to the print data processed via a Hotfolder.
• API – Apply a Production Configuration to print data submitted to the application via the API.

The Check Check Pages have the same size allows you to verify whether all pages, all odd pages, or all even pages of a print file have the same orientation and size.

This Check allows you to check the print file for pages of the same size. The following options are available for this purpose:

• Templates [1] – settings selected in the dialog can be saved as a Template and applied in the Operations Check Print Item and Apply Fixups, Check Print Item and Apply Fixup Chain and Check Print Item and forward to for other Articles or Print Items.
• Size Check for [2] – use the dropdown menu to select which pages should be checked for size and orientation. The following options are available:
  • All Pages – all pages of the Print Item are checked for the same size and orientation.
  • Even Pages – all even pages of the Print Item are checked for the same size and orientation.
  • Odd Pages – all odd pages of the Print Item are checked for the same size and orientation.
  • Variable Content [3] – select the desired placeholder – Database Field or User-defined Field – from which the values for the pages to be checked should be taken. The selected field must contain the following values to ensure the correct page selection:
    • all
    • even
    • odd
