1. Introduction
Progressive Web Apps are web applications that provide a native app-like experience right in your browser.
2. Adding Chrome PWA on your desktop
There are two different methods you can use to install a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your laptop. Each approach has its own steps, and are outlined in detail below:
2.1. Via the Toolbar Icons
To install the Workflow from the toolbar icon, follow the steps below:
- Start the Chrome browser on your laptop.
- Open the website you want to download as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
- Locate the installation prompt [2] in the address bar of the Chrome interface.
- Click the Button Install [1] to start the installation process.
- Once installed, you can access the PWA from the desktop, Start menu, or application launcher for a seamless, app-like experience.

2.2. Via the Crome menu
To install Workflow from the Chrome menu, follow these steps:
- Start the Chrome browser on your laptop.
- Open the website you want to download as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
- Navigate to the Chrome menu > Cast, Save, and Share and click the Option Install Page as App... [3].
- A dialog similar to the one shown in Figure 1 opens.
- Click Install to complete the process.
